After years of constructing Belle Époque buildings, it was modernism from the 1960s boom that took hold of the Cimiez district. The first modern residences appeared under the signature of J.M. LEPEU.

In 1965, Jean-Marie LEPEU began his real estate development career by acquiring a plot of land at 92 Boulevard de Cimiez to build the “EDOUARD VII” building, which became one of the very first “modern” buildings on Boulevard de Cimiez.

All 40 apartments were sold even before construction began, which was completed in early January 1966.

Due to the project’s success, the developer decided to purchase a second plot located behind Edouard VII, part of the original “VILLA ELISABETH” property with access at 14 Boulevard Prince de Galles.

This second project experienced the same success, with the building completed in December 1967.

The developer chose to keep the original villa’s name, naming the building “SAINTE ELISABETH”, Elisabeth also being the name of his eldest daughter.

Set back from Boulevard de Cimiez, this residence offers spacious apartments, all featuring terrace-loggias.
