Palais Tony Pin

The history of the Tony Pin differs from that of the other palaces built during the Belle Époque: indeed, Tony Pin was one of the first “palaces” in Cimiez designed for residential living rather than for hotel use.

In period photographs, this beautiful building—constructed in the purest Belle Époque style—can be seen overlooking the hillside, which at the time consisted mostly of fields and orchards.

It also stood above the “Swiss Farm,” located on Edith Cavell (see photo below). In fact, until the late 1970s, cows could still be found in Cimiez, and residents would come here to collect their milk!

Although Tony Pin does not display the opulence of the former hotel-palaces, it remains today a magnificent high-standard residence, offering spacious and comfortable apartments that have preserved their charm and the distinctive character of a timeless Belle Époque.
